Prof.Dr. Nasser Mandour, President of Suez Canal University, announced that the university has achieved a new international milestone by advancing in the 2026 U.S. News & World Report rankings. It ranked 682nd globally in the overall ranking, which included 2,250 universities worldwide in its twelfth edition. The university also ranked 27th among 111 African universities and 13th nationally among the 30 Egyptian universities included in the rankings this year.
Prof.Dr. Nasser Mandour congratulated the university community—faculty, teaching assistants, researchers, staff, and students—on this outstanding achievement. emphasized that the results reflect the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance its scientific research system, support international publication in prestigious scientific journals, and encourage research collaborations with global academic institutions. explained that the inclusion of Suez Canal University among the top 700 universities worldwide is an international testament to the quality of the university’s scientific output and its ability to compete in international forums, in line with the Egyptian state’s strategy to develop higher education and scientific research and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and Egypt’s Vision 2030.
