Today, Tuesday, 30 April, the Department of Internal and Surgical Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, Suez Canal University, is organizing the fifth annual scientific conference.

Titled:

“Medical-Surgical Nursing Now Challenges: Initiatives, Excellence and Retention”

(Current challenges in internal and surgical nursing: initiatives and excellence)

Which is held within the College of Nursing.

 

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Nasser Saeed Mandour, President of the University, and general supervision of

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saad Zaghloul, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, and under the supervision of Prof.Dr. Wafa Abdel-Azim Al-Husseini, Dean of the College,

Under the executive supervision of Prof. Dr. Enas Mohamed Abdullah, Vice Dean of the College for Postgraduate Studies and Research

It was organized by Prof. Dr. Sherine Abdel Moneim Ahmed, Head of the Department of Internal Surgical Nursing and President of the Conference, and Dr. Amira Mohamed Ali, Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Surgical Nursing and Rapporteur of the Conference.

 

The conference revolves around many topics, the most important of which are:

1- Causes and challenges of academic and clinical nursing burnout.

2-Trends, challenges and opportunities facing the future of nursing.

3-Excellence in research, education, and nursing practice.

4- Improving sustainable quality in nursing practice.

5-Strategies to overcome nursing burnout.
