Suez Canal University

Prof.Dr. Nasser Mandour, President of Suez Canal University, welcomed the delegation of the Chinese Ministry of Education for scientific exchange, which includes 7 university presidents and 50 officials from the leadership of all educational sectors in Chinese universities, wishing them a successful visit towards further supporting joint cooperation between the two sides.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Naeem, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Suhair Abu Aisha, Secretary General of the University, welcomed the high-level Chinese delegation – today, Saturday, 27 April – at the headquarters. University Presidency Building.

The meeting came to discuss ways of scientific cooperation and open new horizons between Suez Canal University and Chinese universities in the field of student exchange to study in Egypt and China, and to develop new channels to enhance scientific exchange between the two sides in various specializations.

The reception ceremony was attended by Prof.Dr. Hassan Rajab, Executive Director of the Confucius Institute at the university, Zhang Tinghong, Chinese Director of the Institute, and Dr. Safwat Abdel Maqsoud, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun.

The Vice-Presidents of Suez Canal University presented the university shield to Mr. Xiao Jiankhui, head of the delegation of the Chinese Ministry of Education, in appreciation of his visit to the university and their keenness to support ways of cooperation.

The Chinese delegation was also presented with some souvenirs that express Chinese culture, expressing their great happiness at their presence in the Suez Canal University.

Then the university leaders, accompanied by the delegation, went to the large conference hall to open the Study in China promotional exhibition for studying various fields in China.

The Chinese delegation concluded its visit to Ismailia Governorate by visiting the Suez Canal and taking souvenir photos on the banks of the canal.

It is noteworthy that this visit was organized through the university’s Confucius Institute in cooperation with the Service Center for Chinese Students Studying Abroad in Guizhou Province, China.
