The College of Agriculture in Ismailia is considered an important part of the history of Suez Canal University, as it was one of the first colleges established as soon as the republican decree was issued to establish Suez Canal University in Ismailia No. 93 for the year 1976. Then the study began at the college in the academic year 1977/1978 by graduating students in only four agricultural fields, namely production Plant – animal production – land and water – food and dairy industries These programs have been developed and converted into scientific departments that teach for ten programs during the period from 1982 to 2005/2006. From that date onwards, the Agricultural Engineering Program was established and operates on the credit hour system. In the 2008/2009 academic year, the study actually began in the agricultural business management program, and it also works according to the credit hours system.
