Dr. Hussein Khaled and Minister of Higher Education visited the Suez Canal
University in  the morning of Tuesday
13/12/2011 where he was welcome by Dr. Mohammed Mohammadein University
President  Dr. Kamal Sharobem Vice
President for Community Service and Environmental Development  where he inspected the facilities of the old
university Faculty of Education and Arts computers information and saw the internal
buildings of three  faculties and saw the
side of the meetings of the Council of the University where he offered Dr.
Shaaban Hefny Dean of the Faculty of Education, a special file for college and What
came the buildings of the state of degradation of up to 70% with
a crack and a clear and erosion
in the percentage of ironsaid Dr. Mohammed Mohammadein President of the
University will be the provision of buildings alternative to these colleges at  the new university . Dr. Hussein Khaled and
Minister of Higher Education said that the coming period, need to unite
everyone to build a new Egypt after the revolution of January and said it was
the first field visit to a public university, including in respect the Canal
University of high prestige within himself and said he will set aside a day
Saturday of each week to be on open meets where students and faculty members staff
and the general public and Minister of Higher Education demanded to take
university presidents that.

Meanwhile Minister of Higher Education said that the first occupier is the
development of the new law of universities and to show it to the light in order
to cope with the activities of the coming period  as he said that the development of
regulations, the student on the list of priority is to feel the student to
participate in the educational process and student university to search for external
sources to increase income and improve the conditions of staff also confirmed
that there is a joint deal with the Ministry of Health to improve the
effectiveness and services in its dealings with citizens.

As for Dr. Mohammed Mohammadein was introduced by the needs of the university
in the old university Faculty of Education and Computing Information and Arts
where its dilapidated buildings and not fit – engineering, tourism and hotel
its  buildings is temporary Medicine and
Science Suez needs to the building of the Open Education – Dental and Nursing
needs to complete the Teaching Hospital – industrial education needs to
complete the buildings – Fisheries and Physical Education Arish new faculties
need to be buildings added to the office building of the University is
dedicated to the Veterinary and the network of fire you need to complete
promised the Minister to consider such requests and achieve what is urgent,
including the most important transfer of Faculty of Education to the new
university.
