Under the patronage of Prof. Dr .Mustafa Madbouli, Prime Minister, Prof. Dr. Khaled Atef Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Major General Staff of the war, Abdel Meguid Saqr, Governor of Suez, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Azim El Sharkawy, President of Suez University. The University of Suez is organizing the African Conference on the role of the Blue Economy in achieving the 2063 Africa Agenda for Sustainable Development organized by the University of Suez from 10 to 13 September 2019.
In accordance with the objectives of the plan of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to deepen the Egyptian-African relations and achieve the sustainable development of the scientific plan 2030, where the blue economy is an important part of the plans and strategies of the African Union to take full advantage of marine resources while ensuring its sustainability for the African continent. The conference will be held for four days at the University of Suez (with the opening of the conference at the university hall and then the conference will be completed at a hotel in Ain Sukhna). The aim of the conference is to target a large number of experts and scientists who users in the African continent and the African ambassadors in Egypt, as well as the African Union Commission on the Blue Economy. Countries of the world given the importance of the conference and the benefits it is expected to return to the development of plans and strategies and perhaps laws to improve knowledge and utilization of marine resources and conservation and thus improve the economic conditions of the African continent
