Faculty of Science, Ismailia prepared in
cooperation with the Arab
Federation for the Protection of Wildlife
– League of Arab
States to convene a workshop titled "Towards
a strategy for the safe
coexistence with sharks,
" on Wednesday, 16/2/2011 in Sharm El Sheikh for
three days.

The workshop is based on three main axes:

• Environment
  Sharks: going on about
  the types of sharks and the geographical distribution of sharks.
• The
  behavior of sharks: and it was
  about normal behavior and abnormal sharks, and
  the reasons for changing the behavior of sharks
• Crisis
  management Sharks: This is
  the historical view
  of previous incidents at the level of the
  world and locally manage the crisis and confrontation
  as well as the requirements of the scientific problems of the marine environment in the future.

And lectures
in this seminar professors
from the Department of Marine Sciences,
Faculty of Science, Suez Canal University and professors from the
Institute of Marine Science –
branch of Hurghada and professors from the
Department of Wildlife, Faculty
of Veterinary Medicine, and Suez Canal University.

The workshop
aimed at educating based on the tourism sector, tourist
facilities, dive centers and protected areas and tourists.
