Prof. Dr. Nasser Mandour, President of Suez Canal University, extends his sincere congratulations to Dr. Emad Hakam, Head of the Department of Surgical Oncology at Suez Canal University Hospitals, and Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim Zayed, Assistant Lecturer in the Department, on the occasion of their winning first place for the best scientific research, for the distinguished study entitled: Assessment of Bowel Perfusion Using Indo Cyanine Green Fluorescence Imaging during Laparoscopic Resection of Colorectal Cancer: A Randomized Controlled Trial, which was presented during the active participation in the activities of the Egyptian Surgical Oncology Society (EGSSO) conference. The research was selected for presentation in the American Journal of Surgical Oncology, a step that confirms the excellence of the faculty at the research level regionally and internationally and medical arenas, and advancing with confident strides towards further excellence and leadership.
