Suez Canal University

Professor Nasser Mandour, President of Suez Canal University, congratulated the university’s faculty, researchers, and students on the university’s outstanding achievement in the Nature Index 2024 rankings. The university ranked 10th among 31 Egyptian universities and 2252nd globally among 5228 universities ranked in the fields of natural sciences and health.

The university president emphasized that this success reflects the university’s commitment to developing scientific research and promoting international cooperation, which contributed to an increase in the research participation rate from 0.1 in 2023 to 0.75 in 2024.

also noted that the Suez Canal University Hospital was included in the ranking, ranking 6th among 17 Egyptian university hospitals and 2802nd globally among 5699 university hospitals, reflecting the hospital’s pioneering role in supporting medical research. Professor Dr. Mohamed Saad Zaghloul, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, emphasized that this remarkable progress is due to the university’s ambitious research strategy, which focuses on supporting international publication in prestigious scientific journals and strengthening research partnerships with global institutions.
