April 29, 2025 Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Nasser Mandour, President of Suez Canal University, the Faculty of Computers and Information, in cooperation with the University’s Graduate Studies and Research Sector, is organizing the first environmental scientific conference entitled “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Environmental Preservation and Sustainable Development.” The conference will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at the faculty’s headquarters. In this context, Professor Dr. Nasser Mandour emphasized that the university is keen to support scientific research in modern fields, especially those that contribute to achieving sustainable development. pointed out that the conference represents an opportunity to discuss the role of artificial intelligence in addressing environmental challenges. For his part, Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Naeem, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs and Supervisor of the Faculty of Computers and Information, explained that the conference provides researchers and students with an opportunity to present their studies on the use of modern technologies in environmental issues, contributing to the development of sustainable solutions. Professor Dr. Mohamed Saad Zaghloul, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, indicated that the conference aims to enhance research cooperation in this field, explaining that the submission of research papers and their abstracts will continue until April 22, 2025.
