It is an idea that the university pursues towards development. Therefore, our obtaining the ISO 9001/2015 certificate is the greatest evidence that we are moving forward towards our goals, expressing thanks to the work team at the University’s Quality Assurance Center for the effective contribution to achieving this great achievement.
This came during the closing session of the visit to the company that awarded the ISO 9001/2015 certificate.
While Prof. Dr. Nasser Mandour praised this achievement, and thanked the university administrations for their efforts and hard work in order to improve the work system, and to achieve efficiency and quality in the educational, research and service outputs provided by Suez Canal University, pointing out that this achievement came through the preparation of evaluation programs According to multiple stages, training courses were also held to train on the requirements of the quality management system, and to establish, review and activate a quality system, to add success within the series of successes achieved by the university, with the aim of achieving all accreditation requirements to ensure the application of standards and procedures that guarantee international quality standards.
The external audit team from AJA, which includes Major General Dr. Eng. Ezz El-Din Al-Hamzawy, Dr. Mohamed Othman, Dr. Amr Othman, and Dr. Manal Darwish, visited Suez Canal University to carry out audit work on the implementation of the ISO/9001/2015 system today, Monday, July 17.
The opening session was held in the University Council Hall in the presence of Prof. Dr. Nasser Mandour, President of the University and his deputies, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Zaki, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Naim, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saad Zaghloul, Vice President for Studies. Graduate Studies and Research, Mr. Khaled Swelim, Secretary General of the University, Dr. Hamdi Atallah, Director of the Quality Assurance Center at the University, and the general managers of the university’s departments.
After that – the team made reviews of the departments included in the visit schedule.
After the completion of the review work, the closing session was held, during which it was announced that the university had obtained the renewal of the ISO certificate.
The university president also thanked all members of the work team of internal auditors and members of the Quality Assurance Center, especially Mr. Yasser Ragab, Mr.Ashraf Muhammad, Mr. Osama Al-Banna, Mr. Abeer Abdullah, Ms. Hala Daoud, Ms. Safaa Mohamed and Ms. Kholoud Fathi.
Major General Dr. Eng. Ezz El-Din Al-Hamzawy explained that the university was awarded the ISO certificate for the next three years as a result of the university’s keenness on the quality of its operations, continuous follow-up to meet quality standards in all administrative and academic services it provides, and urged all university departments and colleges to develop its administrative performance and ensure its quality.
Dr. Hamdi Atallah added that the university’s obtaining the ISO certificate is one of the most important achievements of the university, which always seeks to apply the highest quality standards, continuous development and achieve more successes.
