The Institute is organizing its fourth annual conference for graduate students, entitled “Rumors and National Security in African and Asian Societies,” on Saturday, 9 May, 2026. This conference reflects the University’s commitment to promoting scientific research and discussing contemporary issues related to national security and the intellectual and media challenges facing societies.
The conference, held under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mohamed Amara, Vice Dean of the Institute for Graduate Studies and Research, aims to provide a scientific platform for graduate students and researchers to discuss the phenomenon of rumors and their various impacts on African and Asian societies. It will also explore the associated social, political, and media dimensions, and highlight the role of scientific research in supporting societal awareness and strengthening the foundations of national security in light of contemporary challenges.
