Suez Canal University welcomed Ibrahim Aslan, the Education Counselor at the Turkish Embassy in Cairo, as part of the university’s commitment to strengthening academic and cultural cooperation with international universities and educational institutions. This collaboration aims to support language programs and the exchange of expertise, thereby enhancing the educational process and keeping pace with global developments.
During the meeting, Prof.Dr. Nasser Mandour, President of Suez Canal University, welcomed the Turkish Education Counselor, emphasizing the university’s eagerness to explore broader avenues for joint cooperation with Turkey in academic and cultural fields, particularly in Turkish language education.
The university president also expressed his gratitude to the Turkish Cultural Counselor for donating a comprehensive library to the Turkish Language Department at the Faculty of Languages. This donation will contribute to supporting the educational process and enriching learning resources for students and faculty members.
For his part, Ibrahim Aslan, the Education Counselor at the Turkish Embassy in Cairo, expressed his pleasure at the cooperation with Suez Canal University. affirmed the Turkish side’s commitment to supporting the Turkish Language Department and announced his promise to establish a language phonetics lab at the faculty. This lab will contribute to developing students’ language skills and enhancing the effectiveness of language teaching using the latest educational methods. The visit comes as part of preparations to draft a memorandum of understanding between the two sides that includes ways of joint cooperation.
