
Prof. Dr. Nasser Mandour, President of Suez Canal University, welcomed a delegation from the World Stroke Organization, on an important visit aimed at enhancing medical and scientific cooperation, and supporting the efforts of university hospitals towards achieving international accreditation in the field of stroke treatment.
This came in the presence of Prof. Dr. Nader El-Nemer, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Anwar Abdel-Ghani, Executive Director of University Hospitals, and Prof. Dr. Marwa Orabi, Deputy Executive Director of University Hospitals.
The delegation from the World Stroke Organization consisted of Prof. Sheila Martins, Professor of Neurology at the Federal University of Brazil and former President of the Organization, Prof. Dr. Amal Al-Hashemi, Professor of Neurology, Founder and President of the Oman Stroke Association and Member of the Executive Committee for Accreditation of Stroke Centers in the Organization, and Prof. Dr. Ihab Shawky Ibrahim, Professor of Neurology at Tanta University and Coordinator of the Executive Committee for Accreditation of Stroke Centers and Ambassador of the Organization to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
