Prof. Dr. Nasser Mandour, Suez Canal University President, welcomed  a delegation from Hubei University for Open Education in China, headed by Dr. Zhihong Yuning, President of the University. The delegation included Dr. Li Yiping, Vice President of the University, Mr. Liu Guo, and Ms. Li Min from the International Cooperation Office.

The meeting was also attended by Dr. Hassan Ragab, Egyptian Executive Director of the Confucius Institute, and Mr. Ma Yinbo, Chinese Executive Director of the Confucius Institute. Prof. Dr. Nasser Mandour stressed that Suez Canal University always seeks to strengthen its international partnerships and provide the best opportunities for its students and faculty members, in support of the university’s vision as a bridge for scientific and cultural communication between the East and the West. For his part, Dr. Zhihong Yuning praised the relationship between the two universities, stressing that their partnership with Suez Canal University represents a pioneering model in enhancing integration between open education and academic innovation.

During the meeting, ways of cooperation were discussed in the fields of student exchange programs, educational and research activities, in addition to holding scientific conferences and joint cultural activities.
