The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology announced on October 1, 2024 the opening of applications for the State Awards and Academy Awards for scientists and distinguished scientists from the sons of the Arab Republic of Egypt as follows:

First: Nile Awards: Their number is two awards, each award is worth five hundred thousand pounds and a gold medal, an award in science in the fields of basic sciences, agriculture, medicine, and engineering, and an award in advanced technological sciences that serve the previous fields of science (one candidate for each nominated entity).

Second: State Appreciation Awards: Their number is ten awards, each award is worth two hundred thousand pounds, and a gold medal, five awards in the fields of basic sciences, agriculture, medicine, and engineering, and five awards in advanced technological sciences that serve the previous fields of science (one candidate for each nominated entity).

Third: State Awards for Excellence: Their number is seven awards, each award is worth one hundred thousand pounds, and a silver medal, an award in each of: basic sciences, agricultural sciences, medical sciences, engineering sciences, and three awards in advanced technological sciences.

Fourth: State Encouragement Awards: There are forty awards, and the value of each award is fifty thousand pounds, in the fields of advanced sciences and technological sciences, in the following branches of science: mathematics, physics, geology, chemistry, biology, agriculture, medicine, engineering (applications are for those who are not older than 40 years on December 31, 2024).
