In a distinguished achievement at the level of Egyptian universities, the Pest Scanner team from Suez Canal University received a special award from the International Plan Foundation in the finals of the Egypt Rally for Entrepreneurship Competition, organized by the Entrepreneurship Center at the Arab Academy.
The Pest Scanner team included the students:
Abdel Rahman Ahmed Al-Sagheer, Abdel Rahman Karam, Omar Basem, and Amira Sayed.
The Egypt Rally for Entrepreneurship team from Suez Canal University also won second place as the best student team in the competition in which 8 universities participated. The winning team included the students:
Mona Mohamed Mousa, Nancy Yasser El-Sayed, El-Sayed Ibrahim Radwan, Raneem Farag Mahmoud, Asmaa Ayman Mohamed, Ziad Sherif Attia Madkour, Fares Mohamed Saad, and Omar Alaa El-Sayed Mohamed Mohamed Ali Youssef, with the participation of the student Abdel Rahman Mustafa Ahmed from the Department of Computers and Information.
As part of the university’s active participation, the student Abdel Rahman Mustafa Ahmed contributed to organizing the Ripple Summit 2024 global summit, where the team was accompanied by Engineer Simone Gamal in this prominent international event.
Commenting on the student participation in these events, Prof. Dr. Nasser Mandour, President of Suez Canal University, expressed his full appreciation for the achievements made by the students in the Egypt Rally for Entrepreneurship Competition, and for the outstanding contribution in organizing the Ripple Summit, stressing that these successes reflect the creativity of the students, wishing the university and its students more excellence and innovation in the future.
