Prof. Dr. Nasser Mandour, President of Suez Canal University, announced the launch of a new scientific program in the field of artificial intelligence, which was agreed upon with the Chinese side and Suez Canal University, represented by the Egyptian-Chinese College of Applied Technology.
Prof. Dr. Nasser Mandour pointed out that the project aims to link theoretical study with practical training by providing training opportunities inside China for a period of three months annually, pointing out that the project will enter into implementation after the completion of the agreement between the two parties, adding that this new scientific partnership comes with the aim of serving the goals of Comprehensive development in the Canal Region and Sinai.
This came during the visit of Prof. Dr. Nasser Mandour and his accompanying delegation to China to attend the inauguration of the International Federation for Vocational Education.
The delegation accompanying the university president included Dr. Hassan Ragab, Egyptian Executive Director of the Confucius Institute, and Professor Dr. Tamer Nabil, Dean of the Egyptian-Chinese College of Applied Technology.
Prof. Dr. Nasser Mandour explained that this achievement comes as one of the fruits of the selection of Suez Canal University to be a representative of Egypt, and a founding member of the International Alliance for Vocational Education, which includes 30 countries led by Egypt, Russia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, and Morocco.
