Prof. Dr. Nasser Mandour, President of Suez Canal University, confirmed that within the framework of Egypt’s Vision 2030, which reflects the long-term strategic plan to achieve the principles and goals of sustainable development in all fields and localize them in various Egyptian institutions to reflect the three dimensions of development, the economic, social and environmental dimensions, to enhance investment in people and build their creative capabilities through Increasing knowledge, innovation and scientific research. In light of this, the fourth conference for educational and applied research for postgraduate studies will be held tomorrow, Monday, February 13, under the title Towards future education in the light of sustainable development for masters and doctoral holders at the College of Education.
The conference comes under the general supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saad Zaghloul, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and executive supervision by Prof. Dr. Medhat Saleh, Dean of the Faculty of Education and President of the Conference, and Prof. Dr. Magdi Al-Habashi, Vice-Dean of the College and Vice-President of the Conference, and the supervision of the conference rapporteurs, Dr. Nashwa Bastawisi and Dr. Rania Al-Baali.
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saad Zaghloul added that the conference aims to identify future teacher preparation issues in the light of sustainable development, Egypt’s Vision 2030, identify global trends in preparing future teachers, identify common research interests and issues for researchers in various fields, and contribute to refining the personality of academic postgraduate students. By presenting their research in the conference and discussing the results, in addition to exchanging the visions and research experiences of postgraduate students in a realistic way through dialogue and presenting their own research.
On the axes of the conference, Prof. Dr. Medhat Saleh explained that it discusses the role of educational and applied research in the development of the Canal region and Sinai, educational research in the light of Egypt’s vision 2030 and its role in achieving sustainable development in society, developing teacher preparation systems to achieve its role in achieving sustainable development in the various stages of education, Sustainable development and the role of technology in achieving it, designing programs for people with special needs in the sustainable development goals.
