Prof. Dr. Nasser Mandour, President of Suez Canal University, stated that the series of constructions that Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, opened on Saturday, 2 July, 2022, inside the university campus, includes the building of the Faculty of Computers, Information and Alsun and the Electronic Exams  Building.

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research began his tour by inspecting the new facilities inside the university campus by viewing the building of the Faculty of Computers and Information. Prof.Dr. Nasser Mandour explained that the building extends over a total area of ​​1600 m2 and the building consists of four floors and has a main entrance, a back entrance and 4 emergency exits, and includes an information center and 7 halls., 5 laboratories, stores, administrative offices, and 6 control rooms.

From the computers and information building to the new Alsun building, which extends over a total area of ​​1900 square meters, has 4 floors and has a main entrance, a back entrance and 4 emergency exits, and each floor contains its own operating networks and electricity rooms, and the building also contains administrative offices, a library, an information center, 10 laboratories, and 8 classrooms and 4 control rooms.

Finally, the Electronic Exams Building. The building extends over a total area of ​​1800 m 2 and accommodates about 3,400 devices. The building consists of 5 floors and contains 5 main laboratories with a capacity of more than 3,000 computers.
