In its first edition, the first conference for dental students at Suez Canal University was launched at the level of Egyptian universities this morning, 3 March, 2022, under the title “Modern Innovations in Dentistry”.

Prof. Dr. Nasser Mandour, President of the University, emphasized the participation of a number of Egyptian universities in the conference, as the universities of Tanta, Kafr El-Sheikh, Fayoum, King Salman International, New Giza, Al-Ahram Canadian Universities, pointing to the importance of the Faculty of Dentistry in the Canal region, despite its modernity, but it provides its services to the people of Ismailia and the entire Canal region, stressing the quest of higher medical education institutions to provide a distinguished medical service worthy of the Egyptian citizen; Signifying its accession to the comprehensive health insurance system.

The conference is under the auspices of Prof. Dr.Nasser Mandour, President of Suez Canal University, and under the general supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Shekidif, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and executive supervision of Prof.Dr. Dalia Fayyad, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, and Dr. Marwa Sharaan, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.

Prof.Dr. Dalia Fayyad, Dean of the College and President of the Conference, thanked the delegations of the universities participating in the first conference of the College, wishing for an increase in the number of participations next year, and praised the level of oral presentations and posters participating.
