Prof. Tarek Rashed Rahmi, University President, announced that Suez Canal University has received the annual renewal of the ISO 9001 certificate in the administrative sector for the third year consecutively in the third periodic review.
and stressed that the university is striving for leadership and scientific excellence locally and internationally. added that ISO is an important step to reach an accredited university and that the ISO certificate is the culmination of the efforts of all university staff during a long period of work.
For her part, Prof.Dr. Majida Hajars, Vice President of Graduate Studies and Research, added that we are working under the system of quality education and applied scientific research that serves the society and solve its problems. This came during the visit of the quality company AJA and the consulting company.
The Accountant Samir Al-Najjar General Secretary said that a series of training programs and workshops have been prepared to qualify the various departments of the university to renew accreditation. These included the definition of how to formulate and the objectives of the departments, measuring the achievement of the goal, obstacles to achieve it,
Prof. Dr. Hamdy Kamal Attallah, Director of Quality Assurance Center at the University and supervisor of the project of quality application in accordance with ISO 9001 2015 – AJA Egypt has renewed the ISO certificate for the university in the administrative sector after reviewing the company for the five sectors of the university.
Engineer Ahmed Othman, Director of AJA Egypt and Head of the Auditors team, praised the University’s success in various activities, especially the Faculty of Dentistry and modern equipment in the new hospital which is by no means less than the international dental hospitals.
He also praised the Human Resources Development Center, the university’s information network in its new form and the electronic control room. At the end of the meeting, which was attended by assistant university secretaries, directors of various departments and members of the quality assurance unit of the administrative structure of the university, the university president thanked everyone for their participation.
