Under the patronage of Prof. Mamdouh Mostafa Ghorab, Suez Canal University President and Prof. Atef Abou El Nour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Confucius Institute at the Suez Canal University will organize a “Chinese Culture Festival” from 26/10 to 2/11/2017 at University.

Dr. Hassan Rajab, Dean of Al-Alsun College and supervisor of Confucius Institute at the University, said that the festival aims to identify the colors of Chinese culture of singing, music, folk dance, fashion shows and Taayaji boxing, which was invented 300 years ago.

The festival also includes seminars, competitions and shows of Chinese Mdbalijh films in Arabic. The opening ceremony will be held at Al Najma Park at the entrance to the campus and will be attended by the leaders of Suez Canal University and members of the Chinese diplomatic corps and leaders of the province of Ismailia in addition to the deans and heads of departments of Chinese language in Egyptian universities.
