for health care providers under the title (Education, Training and Education of health care providers on diabetes of children) at Education Development Center at Faculty of Medicine

Dr. Huda Atwa professor at department and the Organization of the workshop that the goal is to raise the level of knowledge, attitudes and skills of nursing staff working in hospitals and primary health care units to improve service and care for the diabetes of children. At the end of training the trainee is able to describe the types of diabetes and its symptoms and complications of the disease. , To have good knowledge of identify the different types of insulin, knowledge of the role of nursing in the care of children with diabetes as a model for chronic diseases. , Proficiency measure blood diabetes, as well as the use of insulin pens. , Improving the skills of effective communication with the patient and his family and doctors

The trainee gets to pass the session the terms of a certificate to be one who deals with children diabetes and have had the experience of not less than one year and required to attend a full training session and proficiency in the skill of diabetes and giving insulin measure Proficiency and complete “assessment” successfully
