The Opening
of Research and Indonesian Studies Center
at the Suez Canal University in the presence the Indonesia
ambassador

Nour  Veizi the Republic of Indonesia Ambassador in
Cairo and Dr. Mohamed Mohammadein the Suez Canal University opened Research and
Studies Indonesian Center  at faculty  of Arts and Humanities as activation of the
agreement concluded between Canal University and the Embassy of the Republic of
Indonesia in Cairo and in the presence of Dr. Hassan Yousef Dean of the
Faculty of Arts and Dr. Abdul Rahim Kurdy  Directo rof Arabic Language Teaching Center
for Non-native
speakers Dr. Ahmed El Sawy and Dr  Said
El- Safa  Cultural Counselor of  Indonesia Embassy
Nour
Fayez Indonesia ambassador confirmed in his speech at a depth of ties history
and culture that bind the two brotherly peoples of Egypt and the Indonesian
pointing out that Egypt is the first country in the world recognized the
independence of Indonesia and all the Indonesian people is estimated to Egypt
this role and Indonesia give back in this period which sisterly Egypt  undergone by in advance horizons
and many opportunities for cooperation between the two countries through the
implementation of cultural and educational programs between Indonesias
universities and Canal University which is already among us including
bilateral relations in many areas.

Ambassador
Nour Veizi wished to Suez Canal University become center of cultural radiation
of Indonesia and Southeast Asia.

The
Ambassador explained the circumstances which experienced
by Indonesia 14 years ago and what has been taken positive steps towards
stability which was already and ready to provide support and expertise in this
area of ​​Egypts sister.

He
expressed his desire to increase scholarships and student programs for the
Egyptians to study in Indonesia to increase the links between the two peoples
also invited Dr. Mohammed Mohammadayn to visit Indonesia.
For
his part Dr. Mohammed Mohammadein Suez Canal University president said that
the relations between the Indonesian people and Egyptian is strong and the Canal
University has several agreements with Indonesian universities and we have
students from Indonesia studying at  the
university through the teaching Arabic to non-native speakers center which
offset the center which inaugurate today for Research and Studies Indonesian
at  Canal
University for Indonesian language teaching to speakers of other university
students and is worth mentioning that the center contains a Indonesian library and
a forum for books and reading and corner of the Indonesian cinema and
Indonesian cooking courses and lectures concerts seminars exhibitions and
educational counseling
