seminar on the
role of the Faculty of Science at Suez Canal University
in the Encyclopedia of World Life
through Egypt held on Wednesday

Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Abdel Azim graduate of the Suez Canal University teacher
at  Department of Botanywho is the first Egyptian African and Arab scientist to win a grant from the
Encyclopedia of Life in 2011 to document the Egyptian fungi for the first time
and establishment of nearly 400 pages on the Encyclopedia site and the name of Suez
Canal University who chaired the meeting of the Conference Final scientists
fungi European definition of Encyclopedia of Life and the definition of the
importance of fungi and the importance of maintaining their biodiversity as
well as a range of scientific activities and international publication which
has done and Ms. Fatima Mahmoud Salem who talk about the Encyclopedia of Life
in Arabic and a grant Encyclopedia of Life which was won by Dr. Ahmed
Abdel-Azim for the year 2011 which in the end will be the establishment of an
electronic library within the plant fungus at Faculty of Science Suez Canal
University in addition to the lecture delivered by Professor Gehan Sami
Suleiman international education consultant and head of the laboratory
curriculum International Science Initiative through Egypt and the importance of
developing education and student activities in schools and teacher training and
how to linking science to the environment at the end of the lecture announced
the win of Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Azim award the most creative education in Egypt in
2011 and proclaimed that there should be cooperation with the Suez Canal University
in order to promote this goal

 

At the end of the
seminar one of the students of the third year at Botany Department talk about a number of different activities undertaken by students in the previous period which included a training session on the cultivation of mushrooms
create an electronic library of books
on Biological Diversity the establishment of a museum of fungi within the Department
of Botany as well as their
participation at the International Conference for Science and Technology BioVision 2012 which will be held at the Library of Alaxanderbh in the period from 22 to 25 of the next month
