The Quality Unit at the Faculty of Agriculture, Suez Canal University, organized a training course on “First Aid”, under the auspices of prof. Dr. Nasser Mandour, President of the University.

And the general supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Naim, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and the executive supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Yassin, Dean of the College of Agriculture, and the organization of Dr. Ihab Rabie, Director of the Quality Unit in the college, and the quality work team participated in the organization

lectured  by Dr. Rehab Farhan, Consultant of Medical Analysis and Preventive Medicine at the Medical Administration .

prof. Dr. Nasser Mandour, President of the University, explained that these training courses come within the framework of the training plans for the quality units in the faculties; Pointing out the importance of applying quality standards in order to build and support a culture of creativity, excellence and leadership in the university.

Emphasizing the importance of the role played by the quality assurance units in the various faculties in clarifying the actual concept of the word quality, which is considered one of the important pillars in the basics of applying total quality management.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Naim, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, indicated that this course comes within the training package organized by the Quality Assurance Unit at the College of Agriculture during the academic year 2022-2023, which includes 16 training courses throughout the academic year, varied between general and specialized workshops.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Yassin, Dean of the College of Agriculture, confirmed that the aim of these courses is to implement the college’s quality policies, and to provide the necessary awareness of the importance of security measures safety at university campus; to preserve the health and lives of all university associates, and to provide them with a safe environment.

More than 455 trainees from faculty members, support staff, administrative staff, and college students participated in the course. The course dealt with the principles of first aid, and its importance in preserving the life of the individual in the event of various emergency injuries, especially in the field of the educational environment.
