Under the patronage of Prof.Dr. Nasser Mandour, President of Suez Canal University, the Office of Technology Innovation and Marketing in the Graduate Studies and Research Sector at Suez Canal University is organizing the first forum for intellectual property and under the general supervision of Prof. Dr. Magda Hejres, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and executive supervision of Dr. Magda El-Ashry, Director of the TICO Center.

The forum will be held from 24 to 26 May from 6 to 8 pm via Zoom technology and discuss topics of interest to researchers from copyright and rights related to copyright in addition to the protection of new plant varieties and trademarks, in addition to a presentation of geographical indications, designs or industrial models, as well as dealing with patents, utility models, intellectual property, traditional knowledge, traditional cultural expressions and genetic resources, the forum will also discuss competition in this field with its various forms, and agreements related to international registration systems, intellectual property and development.
