\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe history of the establishment of Suez Canal University dates back to 1976 AD when it was established by Presidential Decree No. 93 of 1976 with the aim of meeting the needs of the Canal governorates. The study began at that time in 1977 AD with five faculties: the Faculties of Science, Agriculture and Education in Ismailia, the Faculty of Petroleum Engineering and Mining in Suez and the Faculty of Engineering and Technology in Port Said.\r\n\r\nAfter that, the university witnessed a remarkable expansion in the eighties and nineties of the last century until the number of university faculties reached more than twenty faculties in four branches in the cities of Ismailia, Port Said, Suez and Arish.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAt the beginning of the twenty-first century, the decision of the President of the University in 2001 to open a branch of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology in Port Said, affiliated to it in Ismailia, under the name of classrooms in Ismailia, and the study began in classrooms since the academic year 2001\/2002 with only three scientific departments, namely architecture and engineering Civil and Electrical Engineering in the same list of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology in Port Said.\r\n\r\nThen came Presidential Decree No. 317 of 2009 establishing the Faculty of Engineering in Ismailia at Suez Canal University. Ministerial Resolution No. (42) of 2010 was issued to issue the internal regulations of the College of Engineering in Ismailia (bachelor\u2019s stage), and the study began at the college in the academic year 2009\/2010 in the departments of architecture, urban planning and civil engineering, with a credit-hour system.\r\n\r\nThis was followed by the announcement of the separation of the university branch in Port Said from the mother university in the year 2010 AD under the name of Port Said University, so that the Faculty of Engineering in Ismailia became the only and main Faculty of Engineering at the University of the Suez Canal.\r\n\r\nThen in the academic year 2011\/2012 AD, the study began in the electrical and mechanical engineering departments with a credit-hour system. The list of graduate studies in the college was also approved, and studies began in all departments of the college in the 2013\/2012 academic year.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The programs of the Faculty of Engineering in Ismailia - Suez Canal University aim to provide students with the skills and capabilities necessary to solve and address design, executive and administrative problems in a way that meets the needs of society and achieves its ambitions. This will be achieved through a comprehensive and ambitious educational program based on introducing theoretical foundations and practical applications, developing oral and written communication skills, in addition to developing computer skills and its applications, and practical training in practicing the profession.
